breathing difficulty in pregnancy

I am currently carrying my third child, and have had terrible attacks of severe breathing difficulty. The episodes are so bad that I have to lie down and my arms will go numb. I have had echocardiograms, EKG's, and ultrasounds and no one can really explain exactly what is going on. I would love to hear from someone who has either had the same experiences or has had any luck with treating these episodes. The attacks have totally limited my activity because I am afraid that I will have an attack while away from home or somewhere that I cannot lie down.
