group beta strep- future implicationsFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netFri, 28 Jun 2002 20:56:26 -0500 (CDT)
I am 37 weeks pregnant and being treated for GBS, and will be treated during delivery. Can an antibiotic get rid of the GBS completely- forever? Or can it always come back? Does this mean that for all future pregnancies I should be treated during delivery, since I am a carrier of the bacteria? Thanks.
