If you truly had your temp spike and "ovulated" on day 23, starting your period only 7 days later, it's might indicate that while your body attempted to ovulate, you never actually did. If you get two or three months of charts like this, I would get with your doctor to review them, you might not be ovulating regularly. Good luck, I know how frustrating it is trying to figure out fertility!
