I disagree w/the statement re: ovulating 14 days before the onset of your next cycle. I feel that is a blanket time frame given to all women, based on all women having a 28 day cycle. I consistantly ovulate 10-11 days before the begining of my next cycle, and have for most of my menstruating years. I also know a large group of women who ovulate 16+ days before the begining of their next cycle. I think that the advertising these particular tests are doing is based on a 14 day LP, and are just supposed to be more "sensitive" than other brands. I have tried the First Response Early (test up to 3 days before your due) and had negs, even up to 16DPO...using my preferred brand though (Equate) I got a pos result at 10 DPO (which was the day before I would have started my period)Everyone has different experiences though.
