I think they want folks to test too early and pay for bunches of HPTs to make more money. They are feasting on womens' desire to know results asap. After all the years I tried to get prego, I took many a HPT test and saw many a negative stick.

First positive stick I saw was a faint line A WEEK after the box said you are SUPPOSED to be able to see it.

HPTs are a racket, along with the price of ovulation kits, tampons, and diapers for that matter. Few manufacturers so they make all the "female" products muy expensivo.
