pregnancy after tubal ligation reversalFrom: Tonya (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 24 Jun 2002 08:33:51 -0700
I had my tubes tied, in June of '95. I had the tubal reversal done on April 2nd 2002...had my last period on april 30th, 2002.....and am now 8 weeks pregnant on june 24th, 2002. So, obviously...the procedure can work. My question is this....are there any increased rsiks to me and the baby because the procedure was so recent? I seem to be having much more pain...around my incision area. I know I was still healing from abdominal surgery when I started expanding the other way with the pregnancy. Has anyone ever conceived this quickly..and what advice would you give. Also, I should mention...my husband is infertile, so we did an IUI with donor sperm.....does this make any difference? Thanks, Tonya latteshark@hotmail.com
