Hi.. i'm 31 yrs old n just delivered my 2nd child 12wks ago. I used the epidural during both deliveries. In the last 2wks, I've been experiencing lower backache n stiffness in the shoulders, especially so after sleeping in an air-conditioned room. I have had lower backaches in the past and taken muscle relaxants (of coz i did not take those during pregnancy). Could the backache have reoccured due to the epidural? I am still breastfeeding so is it safe to take a muscle relaxant to get rid of the tension in my shoulders and back? Thank you.
