Really good news, but question for Dr'sFrom: Maile (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 19 Jun 2002 19:27:20 -0500 (CDT)
I had posted about my baby becoming footling breech and was discovered yesterday at my prenatal. Anyway, had some REALLY bad pains last night and this morning so I went in again today. Dr. did u/s and she is head down now! YAY! But, being 38 wks, turning should be hard for baby and she doesn't seem to have a prob. doing it. So, tonight she is REALLY active again, and I am worried she is going breech again. Dr. can't turn her b/c of a previous section. My question, I am only a fingertip to 1 cm dialated and 50% effaced, and would love to be induced right now while she is still head down. I am prob. not ripe enough...right? What would you suggest to a patient in my shoes? I really want a vag. birth again!! We haven't cancelled the c-section yet just in case, but this waiting and wondering is driving me mad!
