Not a Dr, But I had twins too. Re: B/G TWINS WEIGHING DIFFERENTFrom: Dotti (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 15 Jun 2002 12:26:02 -0500 (CDT)
I had twins Fraternal G/G when I was 24,(now 30) Baby A always weighed more than Baby B, same now. They were born at 36 weeks and weighed just a touch over 3 lbs for one, one almost 4 lbs. Baby B is shorter than A, and weighs jsut a lb less, BUT no abnormalities whatsoever. We were told that motor skills might be a scenario because of preemie delivery, but NOTHING is different than with a singleton. Both are Average to Above on developments just the same as any other baby/child. Can't tell one bit they were underweight or battled weight with each other or that they were twins etc... God Bless, You have been Doubly BLESSED! To worry about things when your Ob Gyn may have reassured you is unhealthy, undue/extra stress causes us to to cause the baby stress, unhealthy for both, you have several weeks to go, and I bet your babies will bulk up and be as perfect as they are now:)) I'll keep you in my prayers, you are so very lucky, Dotti
