My history- Pregnancy #1 intermittent brownish spotting weeks 9-14 (none thereafter), uterine irritability and lots of contractions beginning at 23 weeks, dilated 1-2 and 50% effaced at 31 wks (also found to have a UTI at this time- given 1 shot of terb to stop quiet uterus at this time)delivered healthy baby at almost 38 weeks. Pregancy #2 was a miscarriage at 6.5 weeks- no D&C. Had 1 normal period then pregnancy #3- no bleeding until 25 weeks (NOT relaeted to sex or an exam)then had intermittent dark brownish spotting (sometimes with small clots and one time it was a dark red color)until week 32(usually went 2 weeks or so with nothing and then it would start again), then no problems until uncomplicated delivery 39+ weeks (I did have some uterine irritability this time but no cervical change until 36 weeks). My OB had me taking it pretty easy since she didn't know what was causing it although all the OBs in the group seemed to have a different opinion. Placenta looked fine on the ultrasound and at delivery.

Just wondering if any of this is related and what you think caused the spotting last preg.? Likely to recur next time? WOuld you consider me "high risk" next preg. based on my history? During the peak of my spotting my OB thought maybe I should be done but when all came out so well she seemed to change her mind. ANy opinion?
