Vaginal & Clitorous Swelling

I have receintly had a C-section done. Everything seemed to go OK with the surgery. Four days later, I developed a hives like rash all over my body that caused major discomfort. I took some anti-inflamatory medication for this and it did disappear four days later. A couple of days after the rash disappeared, I started feeling some discomfort when I was walking. A day later the discomfort turned to severe pain. I could not sit, sleep, walk without feeling pain and discomfort. I tried luke-warm baths, Benidryl it didn't seem to work. I made an appointment to see my doctor, and she said that this was not an infection, but rather and allergic reaction to either the cathador or anything else during or after the delivery. She didn't prescrobe any medication, except to say that I should use ice packs, take baths and take pain medication. The next day I couldn't take the pain any longer because it was increasingly getting more intense. I then went to Emergency, and the doctor said the same thing, but subscribed stronger pain medication. He had said that my clitorous was swelled with fluid, probably due to an allergic reaction to something. Has anyone had this condition this is my third child, and my second C-section, and I had never had this before. I am very much in pain, but hopeful that this pain goes quickly.

I would appreciate any thoughts or help anyone could provide me.

Thanks, in advance, for your attention and assistance in this matter.
