Low progesterone cause infertilityFrom: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 12 Jun 2002 02:33:25 -0500 (CDT)
Hello! My husband and I are ttc our fourth child...I'm 36 and I had my last child one year ago. My question is this: Would post O temps give an idea if you had low progesterone levels? My pre-O temps are anywhere from 96.7 to 97.3 and my post-O temps are around 98.3. Is that a significant jump?? We've been ttc (this is our 8th cycle) and I'm getting a little worried about it. Are there any symptoms for low progesterone -- and if I did have it, would it prevent a pregnancy? I think my problem is that I read too many different women's forums on the subject and I see so many posts where women are saying that the low progesterone is what is causing them NOT to conceive. Any info would be so appreciated. Thank you....
