One More Try - 4th Repost. Doctors?From: Katie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 11 Jun 2002 12:44:34 -0500 (CDT)
I am a 31 year old trying to conceive #1. I have normal cycles with regular ovulation and a 14 day luteal phase. I have been trying for 9 cycles with one natural miscarriage (5.5 weeks) after 4 cycles of trying. Here is my question. I had an ultrasound done on the day of ovulation and my endometrial lining was 6mm. My OB-BYN said this was "fine" and all my ultrasound findings were "normal." I just moved and transferred to a new OB-GYN who said that my 6mm measurement was "too thin" and that I would not conceive with such a thin lining. I am so confused. Who is right and why the vast difference of opinion? If my lining is too thin, am I doomed or is there effective treatment available? Thank you so much.
