Re: Early Fetal Movement

Some women just feel their baby sooner that others. All the books and the experts say that movement is usually felt around the 18th week for the first-timer and earlier for second and third babies. However, I have never "fit-in" to those norms. With my first, I felt little flutters at 14 weeks and they progressively got stronger with time. With this pregnancy, I felt the first movements at 12 weeks partly because knew what they would feel like. I think that the location of the placenta and the weight of the mom has alot to do with it too.
