Does hCG fluctuate thru the day? Does time of day matter? Or fasting?

After m/c I'm getting blood drawn regularly, to monitor my hCG dropping.
I had it drawn right after lunch the previous few times.
How will it affect the measurement if I go before breakfast the next
time?
