Is there any allergy medication that IS safe during pg?From: Julie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 9 Jun 2002 10:46:27 -0500 (CDT)
I am 20 weeks pg, I am just suffering like crazy, sneezing, wheezing, coughing. I know it's all due to my allergies (we have 3 cats, and yes, cats is one of my allergies...no, getting rid of them is NOT an option). I am also allergic to dust, pollin, molds, etc. I have been taking Sudafed, but it doesn't really help that much, except to clear my stuffiness. I use to take Allegra D and Nasonex togehter and always felt fine, but I stopped when I learned I was pg. My questions are these: Is there any allergy medication that IS okay during pg? and How much sudafed is too much? I have been taking it at least 2 times a day, somtimes 3 (the box says I can take it up to 4 tmes a day) for the last 3 days but feel guilty doing so. Tanks for your help!! Julie EDD 10.31
