Re: 42 Day Cycle with Temp ShiftFrom: Rachael (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 6 Jun 2002 10:45:41 -0500 (CDT)
With 40+ day cycles and 10-11 day luteal phases, I would call your doctor's office. If you have 3 charts to show him/her, I would make an appointment. It could be that everything is fine, and you'll fall pregnant very soon. But it also could be that you are not ovulating. Some doctors believe that a cycle longer than 32 days is annovulatory, although I have a friend who has been pregnant 3 times in the last 4.5 years with 60+ day cycles. So that is not necessarily true for everyone. I think it's definitely time to call your doctor, make an appointment, take your charts in, and see what he says. He might suggest trying 3 more months before doing anything, but at least you will have given him the heads up. God bless. I was in your shoes 2 years ago, trying for 12 months before falling pregnant. I charted, did OPKs, had my husband coming home for BD in the middle of the day, taking Robitussin, you name it. I almost made myself crazy. :) I hope you hear back from your doctor today.
