Hi, I'm 12 weeks 3 days pregnant. During the last two weeks I had bloddy mucus discharge ( still I can see a little bit once in a while). Two days ago a I had a Nuchal Translucency Screening that showed a perfect baby ( thanks God ! ). The doctor said the bleeding is coming from the cervix, and not to worry about it. A year ago I had a D&E at 17 weeks. Since then I have been worry about incompetent cervix, and now with the abnormal discharge, I'm more worry about it. My questions are: 1) Do you think a D&E can cause incompetent cervix ? I already have a living kid, and had no problems at all during the pregnancy. 2) Can this abnormal discharge be related to incompetent cervix ? Thanks, thanks a lot for everything. - Martha
