Re: septum & fertility being a twinFrom: S~HeavenlyAngel~ (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 31 May 2002 12:04:02 -0500 (CDT)
To Lori Bean, I am pregnant again 8 weeks!! Yippy, but also scared. All my miscarriages keeps me a bit negative. My OBGYN is going to try something diffrent this time. He is putting me on progestron suppositories for the first 4 months of my pregnancy to see if it will thicken my usterus lining to keep me from miscarrying and he told me to take it easy and no lifting and to try to lay down throughout the day as much as possible with my feet proped up. If it doesnt work I may have to take a leave of absence and pray I have a job when I return. He said in 6 weeks a recheck and if this doesnt seem to be working in 2 months they could do a procedure and go in and completely close my uterus until time for the baby to be born. Have you talked to your doctor about these procedures? My septum procedure was like a D&C combined with a painful recovery. A lot of blood test. The only way they can tell if its completely removed is have you drink a gallon of water before an ultra sound on your belly as well as inside of you checking from both angels. I went through a lot of stuff. Most important is to feel comfortable with your doctor and dont be affraid to ask the doctor anything and everything, for you are paying him its his job to answer and help you. Pray to God. Take care! Angel
