I had a miscarriage two months ago and did not need a D&C. My hcg levels dropped very slowly and were around 20 a month ago. I still have not had what I would consider a period, and there is no chance that I'm pregnant. A few days ago I had my normal period symptoms, and used tampons for two days. There was a little dark blood on them, but nothing that would be a normal period for me (5-7 days, heavy bleeding). Was that a period? Does the body not start a cycle until all the hcg is out? So confused!
