Victoria:

It sounds as though you are writing from the UK or Aus. if you are my suggestion would be to press your gp for an answer. In my experience whilst living in UK and Aus the docs are extremely overburdened and therefore time passes for the patient with little to no action taken unless the case is serious. I am no medical professional but it would seem to me that at your age you should some answers. I wouldn't think you are preg but you may be having some other minor prob. If you are in GB or Aus there are well women clinics available, (although I think they go by a different name now) I should go to one of these and ask the nurse or nurse midwife what to do, call your local surgery and ask them what options are available for women's health issues. Alternately, if your GP has other partners ask to see one of them instead just to get another opinion. If you are in the US then I would go back to the doc and ask him more questions. Good luck, Melissa
