Robin,

Please keep your chin up and don't lose hope! I know what you are going through. My triple screen came back 1 in 6 for Trisomy 18. Amnio results, much to EVERYONE's suprise, came back fine. My doc had never seen such bad numbers in her whole 18 year career. Please don't lose hope! I know it is hard to wait for results...we didn't have the FISH test either. The afp test does have a lot of false positives that make people worry needlessly, but it does help screen out those who truly have problems. I learned a lot from the whole experience. Everything will be okay, Sweetie. Remember, If God leads us to it, God will lead us through it!!! Stay strong! You are welcome to e-mail me if you need to talk, vent or start pulling your hair out while you're waiting. You are in our prayers...
