It is common in pregnancy to feel does appear not getting enough air, because the bronchial airway is dilated. In most cases pulmonary function tests will note that there's an adequate amount of gas exchange but because of the decreased resistance from the dilated airways itches seems as appear short of breath. There certainly are causes that can cause shortness of breath including blood clots that have gone to the lungs, reactive airway disease/asthma and other more uncommon causes. If this is really a concern you need to talk your obstetrician.
