18 NEEDS help with question PLEASE!From: Shannon (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 16 May 2002 03:31:34 -0500 (CDT)
I really need a response. This is my third time posting. I am 18. I have a normal cycle of 30-33 days. I was due for my period on April 18th. It is now May 16th and I still have not received my period. I went to the doctor and had another urine test which came out negative. He prescribed Provera and said to take one a day for ten days. If my period does not return two weeks after the ten days, I must return to see him. Since I have seen him, my nipples are very tender , and I have little bumps around them. Throughout the whole time of my period being absent, I have experienced headaches, nausea, a heavy discharge at times, very bad backaches, and light cramping (just enough to let me know it is there. It is not like my BAD premenstrual cramps.)I took another pregnancy test at home during the day on the 7th. It was negative. Could I still be pregnant even though the urine tests are negative? If not, what is going on with my body? Any suggestions? I really need it! Thank you for taking the time to read my forum.
