Ectopic pregnancy: is there a way to avoid the second one?

Hello I had an ectopic pregnancy 9 months ago. Prior to that I was trying to get pregnant for almost 2 years. I had laparoscopy done 2 times (after the first one I had a child, after the second one I had an ectopic pregnancy). My doctor did not send me to ultrasound test although she knew my whole infertility history, laparoscopies etc. So I have a feeling she could have made steps to find out that my pregnancy was dangerous and she did not. So I ended up losing one of my tubes. So I have 2 questions. 1. I am not really comfortable with my OB anymore. I am looking for a good one in Wellesley area. I would appreciate if you recommend someone. 2. Is there a way to prevent a new ectopic pregnancy? Thanks a lot in advance!
