Do we have any pre-emptive strike options here, docs?

I am pretty sure I know the answer to this one, but thought that for peace of mind reasons I would ask...

I am currently 32 weeks pregnant with number eight. This baby has been mainly transverse for the past 4-5 weeks. All but my one induced labor has begun with PROM. I am concerned about cord prolapse. I know that theoretically we have a couple of months to go before this should be a worry, BUT I have had ROM at 33, 34 and 35 weeks prior to this which makes me worry that we could be facing the same early ROM again, this time with the baby transverse. A version is not a practical option for me as I have an old CSEC scar as well as a very anterior placenta.

Practically speaking, there is not much we can do other than take deep breaths, calm down and pray for membranes to remain intact until the baby decided vertex is more comfy, right? Cervix is currently 40% effaced, 1-2 cm dilated, but this is all par for the course for me at this point, both in the pregnancies where I del early as well as my 39 weekers. When I bring this up to my OB, he mainly grimmaces and says "lets just hope and pray this one turns before you rupture!"
