VBAC - Uterine Rupture-Cytotec-InductionsFrom: Melissa (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 11 May 2002 22:43:54 -0500 (CDT)
Hello. I suffered a uterine rupture in 1998 during a vbac attempt. I was given cytotec and pitocin. My daughter has mild cerebral palsy from the delivery. I have started an online support group for women who have suffered a uterine rupture. This group is also for women who are considering vbac or repeat c-section. For those of you out there who are going to do vbac, you should know, no inductions. This could greatly increase your chance of a uterine rupture. Research all you can on this. Please contact me if you need support. Sincerely,
-- Melissa Emerine
