Hi. I'm a 37-almost-38 weeker and if my body was experiencing what yours is, I'd call those a combination of engagement and contractions, dear. You didn't mention a bloody discharge, so it's probably not abruption. It's a little odd though. The venacular of your message doesn't seem to be US-based (although I could be wrong). If I'm right, medical practice in the US usually dictates weekly visits after 35 or 36 weeks. You're so close to the end at this point that anything is possible. If only for a calmer mindset, get it checked out. It can't hurt and it's your right to do. The baby is active, so that should allay your fears somewhat. Don't feel guilty if your instincts are telling you to have yourself checked out. That's what the medical profession is there for.
