Cord Blood Banking

Hello,

My wife and I are planning to bank our twins cord blood. Trying to decide what facility to use is mind boggling. I have looked at a few, and find the price varies significantly and am really at a loss for what factors to choose on. I looked at Neew England Cord Blood Bank - they are very well priced and have been doing Cryogen for a long time, have 10000 CB's in the bank, but have not been called for a transplant. I looked at CBR as well, they have more than 40000 banked, have had successful transplants, but are much more expensive.

Can you give any guidance on choosing a good facility? I don't mind paying the extra money, but would prefer not to if a more reasonably priced facility can deliver the quality. Also, price is not always indicatative of quality

Thanks Shawn
