Don't know if this will make you worry less or not, but I myself was just in labor and delivery tuesday night with severe pain on the left side, but it was all in front...and it ended up they also told me it was this nerve pain and that it can be quite severe in somepeople and they told me they see it more often with a woman who has had children before due to weaker abdominal muscles or something like that. The pain does come back so I don't know what to do either, apparently there is nothing to do but suffer through it. But they even told me if I get in severe pain again don't hesitate to come back...but said they usually look for an abruption if someone comes in with pain like that and there were no signs of that and the baby seemed very active and healthy...but its still is scarey...but at least I know I have someplace to go if the pain becomes unbearable again. kim
