Just to let you that is what happened to me, I didn't know I was pregnant and the drs had given me the provera to kick in a period, because I am very irregular, well the period never came. When I went to the doctors I found out I was 6w already. I asked the same question and the doctor said not to be concerned that in the olden days that's how they checked if someone was pregnant, how true that is I don't know, but these drs have been great to me and are very thorough when it has come to my pregnancies.

I am 28 weeks now and have had every test in the book for someone over 35 and everything looks great. There was no affects from the medicine.
