Let me tell ya...lol. The first 3 months of my pregnancy was terrible. The nausea was the worst part of the pregnancy for me. You may be having dry heaves which makes you feel like your stomach is literally coming out. I know that feeling all too well. Gastritis shouldn't be the cause of your extreme vomiting. usually it only causes severe bloating and stomach cramps from what i understand. I think it's just your hormones as well as the uterus stretching upwards into your stomach area. Once your body gets used to it, you should be ok. What I did in when I started having dry heaves is just drink pediolyte and chew on some ice chips, try to keep fluids down even if you can't stand the thought of it. Sometimes it will come right back up, sometimes it won't. Pediolyte puts electrolites back into your system to help it heal and also gives you some energy so you aren't so weak. Hope this helps you and good luck with the baby.
