Thanks to both the doctors and "anonymous" for your input! The general surgeon is willing to do the gallbladder removal the first post partum day and seems to think it'd be great timing. (Maybe because my abdominal skin will be loose and easy to get under?) I have my doubts, but I'm encouraged it will be a laparoscopy (barring complications). I did talk to a lactation consultant who said I should be able to nurse right away - but she would check on what they used to put me to sleep.

I know my symptoms might go away, but I also know I want this gall bladder out before I have a second pregnancy. I guess I'm gonna go for it and hope for the best! Thanks again! I love this site! Ann E.
