Nabothian cyst ?From: Amie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 29 Apr 2002 10:23:24 -0500 (CDT)
One month ago I found a bump on my cervix while checking for CM. I couldn't get an immediate appointment to visit my OBGYN, so I went to the urgent care facility provided by my insurance. I saw 2 Drs. (one resident and one medical student) who were suspect of my conception methods (checking CM, etc.). Diagnosis..."cervical abrasion". One month later, I still have my original bump and a new second bump. I checked the archives and found that Nabothian cysts are common occurances. Could these be Nabothian cysts? If they are, will they hinder conception? If they are not, is it common to get cervical abrasions from normal intercourse for the purpose of conception (ie. no strange positions, toys, etc)? I still have an appointment w/ my OBGYN at the end of June, but more information now would help me while I wait. Thanks for your input.
