Is it normal to have some ovarian cramping pain a day or two prior to your period? The reason I ask is that this is only my fifth cycle back after giving birth - before that I had only two periods following the birth of my daughter. I've been pregnant for about 18 months out of the past three years....and a lot of those months I wasn't having periods due to the breastfeeding.

So now that I'm back to monthly cycles, it's almost like I forgot what the signal signs should be. I have more pain in my left side than my right....and it does feel like ovary cramping.

I worry about things like endo....but I don't think that could be it because I've not had any problems with conception or unusual pain - or painful intercourse.

Any help would be appreciated.
