Hi, My husband and I have been trying for almost two years to have a baby now. I have suffered 3 miscarriages, two at 8 weeks and one was when I did not know that I was pregnant. My doctor just took me off a 3 month waiting period due to stress. My last period was March 22, 2002 and my husband and I began trying again. Today is April 24, 2002. On Saturday, April 20, 2002 I was rushed to a hospital with an anxiety attack and dehydration and immediately following this visit I started spotting first brown and then bright red with clots. I went through 4 maxipads within 2 hours. My question is could I have miscarried and if so could the fetus be seen passing. The reason why I ask is that early Sunday morning I found a clot that was pinkish red almost the color of skin. I figure if I was pregnant I would have been 3-5 weeks, so can a fetus be seen with the naked eye that early. It is really bothering me and I really need an answer so I can move on. It seems like everytime I get pregnant I can't stay pregnant and this past experience is really upsetting me because I do not know. Thanks for any help.
