Betty, if your weight gain is good and the doc says the baby is measuring fine, then you ARE fine. Some women carry the baby more up under their ribs and don't have such a pooched out look. Also with your first you often have good muscle tone and you don't show as much, as early. I bet you are showing more all over your trunk and that healthy baby is just tucked up under your ribs. In another 10 weeks you will probably be saying, "I thought I was TOO SMALL??"

I carried all 3 of mine completely out front and low, like a beach ball pasted to my tummy. I have never had heartburn, problems breathing or that sensation that the baby has her toes hooked to my ribs-- because she's nowhere near them! She's about a mile out in front of me! Also I don't look pregnant from the back and I still have a waist at the sides-- but in front I look like the beach ball.
