Hi, I had a tripple screen test done at about 17 weeks and today was told it was positive for neural tube only. She said it was elevated a bit outside the bell shape. I don't know, she was trying to explain. Anyway, I am concerned because today i am 19+4 andshe redid the test today. Is this a reliable time being so close to 20 weeks to redo this test and is this standard procedure? I was under the impression that a level 2 u/s would be the next step. However we live in a moderatly small city so.... I just want to be sure after deciding to go ahead and have the test that I get the correct result. Should I request further testing? She said that if this test was negative well just ignore it all. Thank you for your time and patience.
