20 week ultrasound.From: anonymous@obgyn.netMon, 8 Apr 2002 09:31:39 -0500 (CDT)
I have always measured few days short of the expected "length of pregnancy" which is primarily based on the LMP. My obgyn and I feel that this is because my ovulation had happened little later than 14 days. Now, I have scheduled my mid-term ultrasound at exactly 20 weeks from LMP. I am worried that because I won't measure exactly 20 weeks, it might be too early for an u/s and the doc may miss few detections/signs, which are probably visible only after 20 weeks. The reason I am so concerned is because I am going to a perinatologist for the u/s who is different from my obgyn. Should I try to reschedule my appt for a leter time? What is teh correct time for this u/s? Any advise would help. Thanks.
