I had a missed m/c at around 8 weeks in Dec. Had a d/c, but unfortunately cultures did not grow. no other tests were suggested- which seems to be pretty standard from what I hear from friends who have had similar experiences. I am pg again and did have my progesterone checked early on and it was low. So, when you get there again, it is worth insisting on some blood tests etc. in the event that you could be helped by supplements (although the data are so inconclusive on their effectiveness) or if you have another loss, at least you have that data. Good luck. I know it is a hard and lonely experience. Time does help and although the pain is still there, it does become much more manageable.
