34w & feverFrom: Chris (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 1 Apr 2002 13:04:57 -0600 (CST)
My ds (23 mo) was in the hospital Friday for a 103 fever and dehydration. His fever is still running around 100 - 102. All 3 of us have horrible colds. I started running a fever of about 100.2 and called my doc to see if I could take Tylenol to bring it down since I am also on a cough medicine that she gave me at this mornings appointment. She said yes. Since I've taken the Tylenol about 2 hours ago my temp has gone up to about 100.8 with chills and sweating. AT what point is this dangerous? I hate to keep calling them back but I also don't want to risk harm to my baby. She said my lungs sounded clear this morning. Also, I am supposed to travel out of town for the night tomorrow -before the fever she said this was still OK. Will a fever change that?
