36 weeks with some serious pelvic painFrom: Dawn (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 1 Apr 2002 12:36:33 -0600 (CST)
Hi, I am 36 weeks pregnant and have noticed that in the last day or so that my pelvic bones feel looser when I walk and to help with the pain of walking, I have to walk with my legs farther apart than usual. I've got that pregnancy waddle going on. I experienced some contractions Saturday night that lasted 1 1/2 minutes and were 5 minutes apart. This was due to dehydration. My checkup last Tuesday, I was closed but "soft" and the baby's head was right by the cervix opening. When I lay down, I have extreme pain for a few minutes. It seems like the baby's head is grinding against my bones. Could the loose feeling pelvis, soft cervix and baby's head at cervix opening be a sign that delivery may be soon? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
