From personal experience, if you were on the Depo shot for that long, 1-2yrs for your periods to start again. I was on the Depo for just over 3yrs and it took over a year before they resumed. It took almost 2 yrs for a friend of mine to get hers back. (she had been on it for almost 6yrs) If you were on b/c pills, I couldn't tell you how long it might take, as I still had periods w/that. No exp. w/Norplant, IUD's, etc, so can't give you an idea there.
