I am at the end of my 3rd pregnancy and I have experienced the popping sound that you described during two of them. It has happened very frequently during this pregnancy since I was around 29 weeks. Sometimes I hear it up to 10 times a day. I could be wrong, but it is my opinion that the noises are the sound of amniotic fluid being pushed through small spaces when the baby moves. I don't understand why this makes a "pop" sound, but there has been several times that I have heard it sound like liquid being squished through a tiny space, such as between baby and the internal wall of the uterus. Once again, that is just my opinion, but I think it makes sense. :) I have also heard from other people who have the same opinion. In any case, it's nothing to worry about. It happens all the time, and yet the babies turn out to be perfectly normal. :)
