Thank You, Dr. Shanahan

I'm a woman who took the Morning-After pill at 36 hours post-coital and it failed for me. I have had a running debate going on this forum, and I say that in good spirit, about it not being a cure-all solution - I know this personally. But, your response about "lowering the odds" is a more effective way to present the option. I find it truthful and it makes sense that way even in light of my past experience

Currently, I'm in my last trimester and due in 9 weeks. I'd been thinking of an objective and honest way in which to talk to him (eventually) about own options. And your answer just clarified my views. Thank you for your contributions and for making my parenting and personal experience a bit easier for my son and me. Even though you didn't realize you did!!! -A Thankful Participant Who Learned a Little Somethin'
