This is why it's so important to utilize consistent birth control. I took the pill at 36 hours post-intercourse and it didn't work for me. Now, my body seems to like to beat the odds. And my situation was in response to a date-rape. Unfortunately, I still had to get an abortion.

Seventy-five percent of the time, the pill is successful. But, not always. Be careful ladies!!
