I had my week 39 appt. yesterday and my doctor said I was 50% effaced and a "fingertip" dialated. She said she had to push her finger in a bit and I might have some light bleeding and cramping. I have had both and just wanted your thoughts. I am freaked out about the blood. It's about as much as my normal cycle and tapering off. Should I take it easy the next few days? We were going to do a long walk today to try and get labor going (the baby has been dropped for over 5 weeks, I have hemrhoids and stitches from a previous surgery are herniating--I'm ready!) but don't want to hurt anything.

Your opinion is much appreciated. Thank you so much!
