Although pain that you described could also be an incredibly rare disorder in women of childbearing age called aortic dissection. Again this is very rare unless you have a disorder called Marfan syndrome. You could try simple remedies such as antacids that contain calcium such as Tums, Rolaids, Mylanta or Maalox. But in any event that is why you have a midwife, so call her.
