Hi, Liz. I am not a medical professional, but have done a lot of reading in this area since having two m/c's in the last year. I have heard of inconsistent numbers in two situations - one is lab error, and the other is if you lose a twin - if there is a remaining twin who is developing normally, the levels can go up after the drop resulting from the loss of the first twin. Have you had an u/s
