'gross hematuria' only while pregnant, history of miscarriage, please help

Hi,

I am now pregnant for the third time in a year. Both my previous pregnancies ended in first trimester miscarriages, and were in close succession. (I got pregnant immediately the first cycle after the first miscarriage.) During those two pregnancies, I had constant problems with very visible blood in my urine. The doctors were concerned, and referred me to a urologist. After my second miscarriage last October, I had an IVP and the urologist looked in my bladder and said I shouldn't worry about the blood. Very soon after that, it faded away at least so that I couldn't see it, and I stopped thinking about it.

Now, almost 6 months later, I am 5 weeks pregnant and the hematuria is back in full force.

Are my doctors right to tell me not to worry about this? I am just so concerned that the hematuria was only visible to me during my last two pregnancies then disappeared, and now that I'm pregnant again, I'm seeing it again. Could this be a symptom of some kind of problem that might have contributed to my miscarriages, and might be on its way to making me miscarry again? Should I seeek a second opinion on it? Or am I just being paranoid since I've had two miscarriages and no living children?

Any medical opinions or answers from others who have experienced this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
